Camagüey, Apr 7.- At the Military Hospital, doctor Octavio de la Concepción and de la Pedraja, five medical discharges have been given to patients with Covid 19.

The director of that health institution, Lieutenant Colonel, Dr. Taurino Cruz Padilla, points out that “three days ago the first patient left the province of Ciego de Ávila; and on Tuesday, two other people from that territory; a resident of the municipality of Camagüey, and another of Esmeralda.

"During admission, they had a positive evolution and an adequate reaction to treatment, which allowed that after complying with the established protocol, a negative PCR was achieved; and although they are discharged from hospital, these patients must follow another fifteen days of surveillance in their homes, so that there is security in the non-transmissibility of the disease. ”

The 33-year-old Javier Rodríguez Rubio, who works as a receptionist at the Hotel Santamaría, in the city of Camagüey, is one of the patients who received a medical discharge.

“18 days ago I entered the Amalia Simoni Hospital with suspicion, as a contact with a foreigner; And I can tell people that you have to be very responsible with the health issue, because despite the fact that through the media many tips are given on how to take care of yourself; You have to have individual responsibility, because that is how you take care of yourself and the people around you, and the family.
