At the close of yesterday, April 21, 3,425 patients are admitted to hospitals for epidemiological clinical surveillance. Another 5 thousand 497 people are watched in their homes, from the Primary Health Care.

For COVID-19, 1,860 cases were studied, resulting in 52 positive samples. The country accumulates 32 thousand 276 samples and thousand 189 positive (3.7%). Therefore, at the close of yesterday, 52 new cases are confirmed, for a cumulative of 1,189 in the country.

The 52 new confirmed cases were Cuban. Of these, 43 were contacts of confirmed cases and 9 did not specify the source of infection.

At the close of yesterday (April 21, 2020), in the province of # Camagüey it has 34 confirmed cases of the new # COVID19 that are distributed in the municipalities of Camagüey (24), Florida (5), Nuevitas (2) , Esmeralda (2) and Vertientes (1) (See Map in attached images), who are kept admitted and have 24-hour medical attention and 199 are admitted to Health institutions designated for isolation, with a constant checkup stops acting on any symptoms of the disease and their contacts are kept under epidemiological surveillance. Discharging a total of 11 confirmed patients with # COVID19 in the province after complying with the isolation measures and the control and surveillance system in the designated health institutions in the territory.

Camagüey, Apr 22.- Considering the existence of an active event of limited local indigenous transmission of Covid-19 in an area of the Buenos Aires-Bellavista People's Council of this municipality, the Provincial Defense Council (CDP) proposed the quarantine entry of a portion of that demarcation.
